European League Predictions – Week 11

Hello Mathematical7.com readers,

Welcome back from the National friendlies and Euro 2020 qualifiers weekend.

French Ligue 1

Match: Bordeaux v Saint Etienne

Synopsis: Bordeaux and Saint-Étienne will both look to build on derby successes when they face off on Sunday. Bordeaux’s home form this season isn’t particularly impressive; just one win at home. However, it has a good record against Saint Etienne, having won 5 of the last 6 encounters.

Verdict:  2-1 (Bordeaux to win)

Italian Serie A

Match: Juventus v Bologna

Synopsis: Juventus will be beaming with confidence after their recent win against Inter; a win that saw them become the new league leaders. They host a Bologna side without a win in four. Bologna have managed only one victory against Juventus in 31 attempts.

Verdict: 2-0 (Juventus to win)

German Bundesliga

Match: RB Leipzig v Wolfsburg

Synopsis: It is a surprise Leipzig have failed to win their last 2 Bundesliga games after their strong start. They face the only unbeaten team in the Bundesliga in Wolfsburg. This is a tough game for both teams but Leipzig will likely end Wolfsburg unbeaten run.

Verdict: 2-1 (Leipzig to win)

Spanish LaLiga

Match: Atletico Madrid v Valencia

Synopsis: It is the biggest fixture of week 9 and Atletico will look to return to winning ways after two scoreless games in the league at home. Valencia seem to be picking up under Albert Celades; they are unbeaten in the last 4 league matches. Atletico has won its last 4 at home games against Valencia. It should return to winning ways.

Verdict: 1-0 (Atletico Madrid to win)

English Premier League

Match: Manchester United v Liverpool

Synopsis: Manchester United is looking for its 3rd league win of the season against perfect Liverpool. The Red devils beat Chelsea and Leicester at home but Liverpool are a different proposition. United is already 15 points behind Liverpool after only 8 games played this season. Manchester United is unbeaten in its last 6 home matches against Liverpool (3W, 3D) but there is no better time for the Reds to win than now.

Verdict: 2-1 (Liverpool to win)
